Karisma Kapoor Travels to Delhi for Ex-Husband Sunjay Kapur's Prayer Meet

Bollywood actress Karisma Kapoor journeyed to Delhi today to attend the prayer meet for her former husband, Sunjay Kapur. Sunjay, a prominent industrialist, tragically passed away on June 12th following a heart attack while playing polo in London. The final rites were conducted on June 19th in New Delhi, with Karisma present alongside her children.

Karisma Travels with Samaira and Kiaan

On Sunday afternoon, Karisma was seen at Kalina airport with her daughter, Samaira, and son, Kiaan, as they made their way to the capital city.

Kareena and Saif Spotted at the Airport

Shortly after Karisma and her children were seen, her sister Kareena Kapoor and brother-in-law Saif Ali Khan were also spotted at the airport. The couple are also expected to attend the prayer meet in Delhi. Dressed in a simple and respectful manner, they appeared composed as they headed to their flight. The prayer meeting is scheduled to take place from 4 pm to 5 pm at the Taj Palace Hotel in Delhi.

Sunjay Kapur’s funeral was held at the Lodhi Road Cremation Ground in New Delhi. The ceremony was attended by close relatives and friends, including Kareena Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan. It was a somber occasion as the family bid their final farewells.

Sunjay Kapur passed away on June 12th while engaged in a polo match in London. Reports indicate that he suffered a heart attack during the game. While some reports speculated that a bee sting may have contributed to the heart attack, there has been no official confirmation regarding the specific cause of death.
