Amitabh Bachchan Hails Working with Son Abhishek as a "Great Blessing"
Megastar Amitabh Bachchan, who has shared the screen with numerous prominent stars, recently revealed that collaborating with his son, Abhishek Bachchan, has been one of his most significant learning experiences and a profound blessing.
In a heartfelt blog post, the veteran actor shared a picture featuring him and Abhishek, where the latter appears to be explaining something while Amitabh listens attentively. The setting seems to be a studio, with headphones resting on Abhishek’s lap, suggesting a break from a shoot. However, details about the project remain undisclosed.
Amitabh Bachchan expressed his sentiments on his blog, stating, “The joy of creation surpasses all else. Those who can, are blessed. Spending evenings and late nights with them is a learning in itself. I learn each day... It is a blessing when Son and Father create together. It's the biggest learning and the biggest blessing (sic).”
Meanwhile, on June 18, Abhishek announced his upcoming film, "Kaalidhar Laapata", a poignant narrative centered on second chances. Directed by Madhumita and supported by Zee Studios and Emmay Entertainment, the film features Daivik Bhagela and Zeeshan Ayyub in pivotal roles.
Set against the backdrop of rural India, the story revolves around Kaalidhar (played by Abhishek), an aging man who runs away upon discovering his family's plans to abandon him. Along his journey, he encounters Ballu, an energetic 8-year-old orphan, marking the beginning of their unexpected adventure.
Ballu’s vibrant energy and curiosity reignite Kaalidhar's passion for life. Together, they embark on a spontaneous road trip, ticking off items from a bucket list.
"Kaalidhar Laapata" is scheduled to premiere on July 4.
